i recently hosted a nautical themed birthday party, so i thought i would share some party pictures with you. i didn't get the fabulous pictures i was hoping to, cuz i was trying to be a good host...forgive me please?!
i think you'll still enjoy the ideas though...
i started off by sending out these invitations
and used these stickers to seal the envelopes
we did a yummy lunch with bread bowls {i opted to buy them instead of make them, since i had plenty of other things to make...and i got them at smiths!! they were soo yummy and only $2 for 3, great price!!} and soups!
the two soups i made were cheddar chicken chowder and white chicken chili.
we also had:
bruschetta
pasta salad
caesar salad
apples with carmel
chocolate cupcakes w/ buttercream frosting
{i would use vanilla instead of almond w/this recipe next time}
chocolate covered pretzels
&
lemonade
